Jurassic Bal is back 2 to 4 April 2027 and this year, we’re celebrating our SCENE LEADERS! We want to acknowledge their hard work we often don’t see (it’s all happening behind the scenes y’all): planning and holding weekly classes in a sometimes uncertain environment, the time they invest in making their local scene friendly and welcoming, the money and time spent to find the right venue and organise social dances. All of this is HARD WORK, and we don’t take the time to thank them enough.

We appreciate all of you of course, and this is why we have taken the time to celebrate a specific part of our community each year, but we also need to recognise that without the love and tears spent into making classes and social happen consistently, we wouldn’t be gathering together at Jurassic Bal and other events around Australia.

So if you’d like to thank, celebrate, acknowledge those who make you feel part of this great community, we’ll be running some fun activities leading up to the weekend, and perhaps even read some of your love letters during the socials.

More info coming soon.
